This is the view from my studio on this beautiful June morning. Entirely without the benefit of doors right now, which is lovely but the doors have been ordered and I will be fitting those next week, somewhat reluctantly, as I love it like this! I may try and achieve some sort of folding door arrangement…
So whilst I’ve been busy building my studio, my very talented son Rowan has been building this incredible new hanging tipi pod!
Hanging from an ancient tree on the side of a hill in the middle of Totnes, I don’t think I have ever seen anything like this!
I’ll post some more pictures soon.
Very pleased with my luxurious curtains, £1 from the dump!
I will put on doors but only with some reluctance in this glorious may weather!
Just had to put up a before picture, to show the transformation from scruffy muddy back yard to super studio!
One busy month! Barely a tweet or a post, just building. It’s been great fun and quite a challenge, not the least having to construct it in such a small place, with no storage room at all. The you have to carry all the building materials through the house…
A hundred trips to the builders and dump later, I’m now ready to plasterboard out and give the doors the attention they deserve!
Itching to get back to those gothic characters though…
